Baked pumpkin pie oatmeal has never been easier made in your beloved slow cooker. I love waking up to the house smelling awesome, specially like pumpkin pie.
Slow Cooker Baked Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal
*if you over sleep like I often do, just add water and mix
Ingredients
3 c Steel Cut Oatmeal
1 c Brown Sugar
1 16 oz can of Pumpkin pureed
9 c of water
1 T pumpkin pie spice (I'm addicted, so I use much more)
pecans or walnuts (optional)
whipped cream (optional)
salt to taste
Instructions
Spray your slow cooker with cooking spray or use slow cooker liners
Place all ingredients in slow cooker and mix well
Cook on low for 6-8 hours
Stir well and serve
Notes
I always save the leftovers for snack time or heat it up in the microwave for breakfast the next morning.
