Creamy Chicken Alfredo Lasagna in the Slow Cooker

Serving Size: Serves 10 people

12 Lasagna noodles (you can use wheat)
2 16oz jars of Alfredo Sauce (I use Walmart brand)
1/3 c of Water
16 oz of cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
2 cups of mozzarella cheese
Italian seasoning
1 1/2 cooked shredded or diced chicken

Spray slow cooker with cooking spray
Break (4) uncooked lasgana noodles and place in bottom of slow cooker
Layer 1/3 of alfredo sauce, 1/2 of water, and 1/2 of chicken, 1/2 of ricotta cheese, sprinkle Italian seasoning over mixture, and layer with a 1/3 of mozzarella cheese
Repeat layering process
Layer remaining noodles, sauce, and mozzarella cheese
Cook on low for 4 hours

Make sure all noodles are covered with layer mixture. Do not overcook.

I have to admit, the lasagna pieces don’t come out in perfect rectangular shapes, but it’s so yummy that nobody will care.

I made this the other night (using cottage cheese) and it was delicious! When it had about 30 minutes left I sliced a yellow squash very thin and layered it on top of the lasagna. So yummy!
