My gang has an abnormal love for mushrooms. We actually fight over them. No one can get enough of them.
I’m always coming up with new ways to start a family feud, so I came up with this simple pasta with mushroom sauce the other night for supper.
How to Make Pasta with Mushroom Sauce
- 16 oz of mushrooms, sliced
- 8 oz of sour cream
- 1 dry onion soup mix
- 3/4 c of red wine
- 1 c of water
- 3 garlic, cloves, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb of pasta, cooked
Place all ingredients in slow cooker except cooked pasta. Mix well. Cook on low for 6 hours. Serve mushroom sauce over cooked pasta of choice.
I like to serve this pasta with nice salad. It makes wonderful leftovers, too.
