Slow Cooker Beef Tacos Recipe
Ingredients
2 lbs of browned ground beef
1 packet of taco seasoning
16 oz of salsa (I use the kind that has corn and beans)
Lime
Chopped cilantro to taste, optional
1 c of chicken or beef stock
2 cans of black beans, drained
Taco shell or flour tortillas
Shredded cheddar cheese
Sour Cream, optional
Instructions
Brown ground beef, drain fat, place in slow cooker
Add 1 packet of taco mix, salsa, and juice of lime, beans, stock, and cilantro
Cook on low for 3-4 hours
Serve meat mixture in taco shells or flour tortillas
Add shredded cheese and sour cream(optional)
Notes
You can freeze the leftovers and reheat on low in slow cooker. Be sure to just add a bit of water to avoid dryness.
