Slow Cooker Breakfast Casserole Recipe

School will be back in session before we know it, and that means its back to busy mornings full of finding backpacks, checking school work, and making sure we all have a good breakfast before heading out the door. It is busy mornings that make me love my slow cooker even more! Let’s face it, a hot breakfast beats cold cereal any day, but I hate getting up super early to cook for everyone. Thanks to my slowcooker I don’t have to! I can pop my ingredients in there the night before and in the morning I have a hot breakfast for everyone!

The best thing about my Slow Cooker Breakfast Casserole is that you can customize it in so many different ways! You can add different cheeses, meats, and veggies and really make it your own! Let’s check out how to make my version:

Slow Cooker Breakfast Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

8 eggs
2 cups shredded cheese
8 turkey sausage links
1 onion (chopped)
1 bag shredded hashbrowns
Salt and Pepper to Taste

Instructions

Step 1: Grease the bottom of your slow cooker and pour your hashbrowns on the bottom of it.
Step 2: Cut up your sausage and onions and throw them in the slow cooker.
Step 3: In a bowl scramble your eggs and add in your salt and pepper. Pour your eggs over your hashbrowns and sausage.
Step 4: Top your mix with cheese and mix well. Cook for 6 hours on LOW or 2 hours on HIGH. Cut up and serve!
