Have you ever wondered about spaghetti squash: how to cook it properly?

You will not believe how easy it is in the slow cooker.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 6 hours

Serving Size: Depends on size of spaghetti squash

Spaghetti Squash: How to Cook it

It's wonderful as a side dish with butter, garlic powder and parmessan cheese.

Ingredients

(1) Spaghetti Squash
water
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Pierce the squash multiple times with a sharp knife
Place squash in slow cooker
Fill slow cooker with 2 cups of water and cover
Cook on low for 6 hours
Take squash out with an oven mitt
Let it cool for about 45 minutes or until you can handle it without burning yourself
Cut squash in half lengthwise
Remove seeds and toss
Scrap out squash with fork
Salt and pepper to taste

Beware the spaghetti squash will turn a bit darker after cooked in your slow cooker for 6 hours.

We love to eat spaghetti squash in lieu of spaghetti and serve with this magnificent EASY spaghetti sauce.

    Has anyone ever tried Spaghetti squash with cheese in it and was it wroth a 2nd or 3rd time cooking??
