Spiked Hot Chocolate

Spiked-Hot-Chocolate

If you are looking for an awesome boozy drink to share with someone special, then you will love my Spiked Hot Chocolate Recipe! This recipe is made in a crock pot, and is a creamy chocolate with a kick! My husband actually came up with this recipe one night while looking for something sweet to enjoy after dinner. We didn’t have much, just some chocolate powder, milk, and Southern Comfort, and from there the Spiked Hot Chocolate was made!

Here is how you make my Spiked hot Chocolate Recipe:

You will need:

  • 4 cups milk
  • 4 tbsp chocolate powder
  • 1 cup southern comfort
  • optional: whipped cream (we used chocolate whipped cream)

First, set your crock pot to low and pour in your milk.

Next, mix in your chocolate powder and stir well.

Then, add in your southern comfort and stir well. Heat in the crockpot on low for 1 hour.

Last, pour your spiked hot chocolate into a glass, top with some whipped cream (or marshmallows!) and enjoy!

A great crock pot recipe that is perfect for any time of year!

How do you think it would be with other liquors? I’m not really a liquor drinker but like this idea! Thanks in advance!

      Hi Sandi,

You can make it without the liquor. Enjoy!

When you say “chocolate powder” is that cocoa powder or like swiss miss/nesquick powder?
